Different from a shared website hosting account in which the data is backed up by the provider, if you employ a virtual or a dedicated server you will need to keep manual backups since such a service isn't included by default. As great as a web server could be, there is always the possibility that something might go wrong. For instance, you can delete some content accidentally or a script-driven app may get corrupted after an update. In case you have a backup, you won't need to concern yourself with such issues because the content can be easily restored. As it may not be really practical to do this all of the time on your end, we offer an optional backup service for every one of our web server plans and we shall store a copy of your content on an individual server to ensure that it is unharmed no matter what. With the upgrade, you could work on your server without worrying that you might lose any information due to any reason.

Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers

If you obtain one of our dedicated servers and you decide that you need a backup of your content, you'll be able to add this service with a couple of clicks and our system will start keeping copies each week straight away. You'll be able to get the upgrade along with the hosting server or at some point later via your billing CP in case that you don't need backups from the very start. The service will grant you fifty gb of disk space on an independent server and this content can be restored on our end. Though we test the equipment and the software before we hand over any new dedicated web server, you could never know if some update won't fail, so in the event you have valuable information on the hosting server, you'd be better off with this upgrade. Backups can also be found with the Managed Services upgrade, which features many other useful administration tasks we provide to our clients.
